​Chief William Wolf, Jr. has proudly served the Terryville Fire Department since 1993 and brings decades of leadership, operational experience, and public service to the department. A former Captain of Company 2, Chief Wolf has held multiple leadership roles throughout his tenure and remains deeply committed to the safety, readiness, and professionalism of the department.

In addition to his fire service career, Chief Wolf is a retired New York City Police Officer, having served with the NYPD. His background in law enforcement and emergency response provides a valuable perspective in incident command, coordination, and public safety operations. Chief Wolf continues to serve as a respected leader and mentor within the department and the community.

Chief Edward Simonetti joined the Terryville Fire Department in 1992 and has dedicated more than three decades to serving the department and the community. A former Captain of Company 2, Chief Simonetti previously served as Assistant Chief from 2015 to 2017 before assuming his current role as Chief of Department.

In addition to his fire service leadership, Chief Simonetti is a retired Arson & Explosives Detective, bringing extensive investigative and public safety experience to the department. His combined background in fireground operations, command leadership, and fire investigation provides a strong foundation for departmental oversight, operational readiness, and firefighter safety. Chief Simonetti remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service within the Terryville Fire Department.

Chief Michael Giudice, Sr. joined the Terryville Fire Department in 1991 and brings more than three decades of fire service experience to the department. A former Captain of Company 2, Chief Giudice has served in multiple leadership roles and is known for his dedication to operational excellence and firefighter safety.

In addition to his volunteer service, Chief Giudice is a veteran career firefighter with the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY). His extensive experience in both volunteer and career fire service provides invaluable insight into incident command, fireground operations, and mentorship. Chief Giudice continues to serve as a trusted leader and resource for the department and the community.

Chief Michael Russo joined the Terryville Fire Department in 2007 after completing four years in the department’s Junior Fire Company. A former Captain of Company 2, Chief Russo has progressed through the ranks and brings a strong combination of experience, leadership, and commitment to the department.

His long-standing involvement with the Terryville Fire Department, beginning in the junior ranks, reflects a deep dedication to the organization and its mission. As 1st Assistant Chief, Chief Russo plays a key role in departmental operations, leadership, and firefighter readiness, continuing to serve as a trusted leader within the department and the community.

From the early beginnings of the Terryville Fire Department, ​there has always been one man in charge, the Chief of the Department. The position of Chief is one that dedication, commands respect, and is vital to the well being of the department and its members. Since 1948, the Terryville Fire Department has seen many men hold this position and their memory, as well as the memory of their days in office is at the core of the organization.
